Fisher & Donaldson

Fisher & Donaldson are a well renowned bakers in Scotland. We were recently engaged to supply a new counter and back unit for their latest refresh in St. Andrews.

We were initially engaged by their designer who had mocked up visions of how the shop and counter in particular should look and feel. From there, we worked alongside both the designer and the team at Fisher & Donaldson to pick specific finishes which complimented their new shop brand and feel.

A large part of our works before the installation began were creating 2D plans, 3D renders and video walkthroughs of the space to ensure the Fisher & Donaldson team had as clear a vision of the new design/layout as possible.

We shared a wide range of samples for counter carcass, counter fronts and worktops until the client was confident in the finish. For this particular project, we worked with Krion’s ‘Fitwall’ front board finish, sprayed to Fisher & Donaldson’s specific RAL colour, complimented by granite worktop ‘Calcatta Dorada’.

We were able to work alongside their main contractor on-site, including a bespoke routing of refrigerated air-flow to the most suitable part of the shop.
